MedDecSup 2011

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together researchers working in the main areas of Applications in the Medical Domain and the Healthcare Domain. The workshop proposes themes like: Medical Decision Support Systems, Medical Informatics, Efficient archiving of visual medical information, Archiving of biomedical signals, Management of large medical databases, Complex Systems, Biostatistics, Artificial Intelligence Applied in Medicine, Intelligent Medical Systems. The guests are invited to present their recently achieved results, exchange ideas and cooperate in a friendly framework.

MedDecSup 2011 is organized under the frame of the bilateral Romanian-Bulgarian cooperation research project with a duration of two years and bears the title "Electronic Health Records for the Next Generation Medical Decision Support in Romanian and Bulgarian National Healthcare Systems" abbreviated as: NextGenElectroMedSupport , financed by the National Authority for Scientific Research (ANCS), Romania and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, Bulgaria.

The Workshop will take place at the "Petru Maior" University of Tg. Mures, Romania between the 18th -19th of September 2011. We hope that the participants will appreciate the beautiful venue of the workshop at the Petru Maior Universityof Tg. Mures.
